What is TeachEdison?

We're an “Education Technology” company working on a mission to solve quality education crisis. We work with various stakeholders in the knowledge ecosystem to make online learning – Equitable, credible and impactful.

What is the reason behind the name “TeachEdison” and how are you different?

We all know Thomas Alva Edison for his famous invention - Light Bulb. But, what many of us might not know is his short school life. He was tagged as "addled" and dropped out of school. But, his mother who believed in his potential taught him at home. Much of his Education came from self-learning and the rest is history!

We believe that every student is unique, their potential can be unleashed (like Edison) by understanding their learning needs and then connecting him/her with right mentors. The current educational system is not useful in solving this problem as there is no one-size-fits-all approach to learning. We understand that learning is tough but it can certainly be made interesting, and that is why we are here to support you at every step of the learning process by connecting you with right mentors and moderators who understand you. We have an incredible network of students, mentors. Join us!

Are courses offered only in English?

Most of TeachEdison's courses are held in English. However, for few courses vernacular subtitles will be made available for video lectures. For 1-on-1 Mentoring, you can choose your preferred communication language from the languages listed for a particular mentor.
